This Phase III report is the initial draft of the 2007 monitoring plan for the Mojave Desert Network. It includes updated material from the phase I and II documents and describes our plan for implementing long-term monitoring of natural resources and water quality in network parks. The ten chapters provide an overview of the Vital Signs Monitoring program, goals and objectives, development of conceptual ecological models, description of final 20 selected vital signs, sampling design and protocols, data management plan, and administrative framework (timeline schedule, budget).
