An aerial and ground survey was conducted May 26 and 27 on the 51,000 acre Mammoth Cave National Park. Insects and diseases observed included pine sawflies, annosus root rot, Dutch elm disease and persimmon wilt. This is the first known occurrence of Dutch elm disease on the park. Survey methods are given. Each disease is discussed in turn. A discussion section completes the report.
