This document is a compilation of the data collected during stream physical habitat surveys conducted by Great Basin National Park (GRBA) staff during the summer and fall of 2006. Standard procedures were used to assess the quality of the physical characteristics of GRBA streams and establish a baseline condition to aid in future assessments to identify and monitor any changes in these streams. Sixty-nine permanent 100 m survey stations were established within fourteen perennial streams in nine of the park’s twenty-two watersheds. Data was collected for 1) water quality parameters (water temperature, dissolved oxygen, specific conductance, and pH); 2) average width, depth, velocity, and stream substrate components; 3) aquatic and riparian vegetation; and 4) wildlife. A habitat assessment score (0-200) based on habitat condition ratings was determined for each survey station.
