Sediment and erosion mediation in a typical watershed basin in Southern Guam: Monitoring methodology and mitigation techniques

Golabi MH. 2004. Sediment and erosion mediation in a typical watershed basin in Southern Guam: Monitoring methodology and mitigation techniques. University of Guam. Mangilao, Guam

The overall goal of this project is to measure the runoff and assess the sediment loss from a typical southern watershed area and estimate the loading rate to the nearshore coral reef originating from the upland watersheds. Also we will evaluate the effect of different soil surface conditions particularly the effect of Vetiver grass on runoff and sedimentation in order to develop restoration technique for these sites.
