This document presents a proposed general management plan for the monument along with alternatives and an environmental assessment. The actions described in the plan would ensure protection of the significant cultural resources, provide better interpretation and understanding of the area, improve visitor facilities, and provide strategies for managing new lands that have been added to the monument since the 1963 Master Plan was completed.
