The purpose of this plan is to identify and examine Fort Bowie's natural and cultural management problems and propose methods for their resolution. Upon approval of the plan the park will implement the proposed management actions. Special funding and addi tional staffing from the Western Archaeological Center, Southern Arizona Group, Chiricahua National Monument, Western Region and Bureau of Land Management may be necessary to accomplish many of the management actions that will be proposed.
