This report contains initial scientific descriptions and maps of marine resources (reefs, corals, fishes and seagrasses) at Buck Island Reef National Monument, with preliminary studies to determine rates of calcium carbonate accrual by living corals and the assess the effects of important or potentially important agents destructive to living coral (man, disease and predators). Each chapter is described separately in this database.
