The purpose of the investigation reported on herein is to map the principal geologic units present in the peninsula for the purpose of selecting a preferred test drilling location. Geophysical surveying was originally proposed but the geologic mapping indicates insufficient velocity or resistivity contrasts between the target aquifer unit and the underlying(unacceptable) strata. Therefore, geophysical surveys were deleted from the scope of theinvestigation.
