The upper 83 miles of the Cache La Poudre River of Colorado were comprehensively analyzed for possible inclusion in the Wild ans Scenic Rivers System. Five alternatives were examined according to the National Environmental Policy Act process; Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1968 (P.L. 90542); the USDI, USDA Guidelines ...; and Water Resources Council, Principles and Standards... Accordingly, alternative B recommending 39 miles for inclusion in the system was selected as the preferred alternative.
