The purpose of this study was to provide baseline water quality data of the Saugus River located in northeastern Massachusetts. Massachusetts State class 'B' water parameters were analyzed. The focus was on the area near the Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site (SAIR), which is approximately one half mile prior to the Hamilton St. Bridge in Saugus, MA.
