Bald eagles congregate in Glacier National Park each autumn to feed upon the spawning Kokanee Salmon. Observations and censuses of these eagle concentrations were initiated in 1965. This report is a continuation of these censuses and observations that take place most every year. The 1977 maximum count was the highest ever recorded in Glacier.
