Risk models for invasive exotic plants were developed for Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The models use Geographic Information System (GIS) data to assess the risk of exotic plant invasion at introduction, establishment, and spread. Maps can then be created to highlight high risk areas and assist with management decisions.
