Information found in previous reports from rare plant studies (1990, 1995, 1997) at Bryce Canyon gave UTM coordinates that were found to be inaccurate. This is in reference specifically to the 1997 "Five Year Monitoring Report" by Ames-Curtis et al. This may have been due to the use of older and less accurate GPS units or inaccurate methods of digitizing the points.
