This report describes the results of wintering and migratory shorebird monitoring at Cape Hatteras National Seashore for the period of 2006/2007. There were four focal shorebirds monitored as part of this study: piping plover (Charadrius melodus), red knot (Calidris canutus), American oystercatcher (Haematopus palliates), and Wilson’s plover (Charadrius wilsonia).
