The Kaibab squirrel is noted as rare in the Red Book. A population was proposed to be transplanted to Mt. Trumbull Division (now Parashant National Monument) in case of disease destroying the original population. Describes the project, the habitat at the new locality and why it would sustain a population of squirrels, the benefits to recreation, and allotments and other landowners in the affected area. The report gives a list of recommendations for the project. Contains 2 maps, illustrating the topography and the habitat types for the area.
