Department of the Interior

This explores the alternatives to the Interim Management Policy (BLM IM 2000-062, BLM/NPS Addendum for Parashant, BLM IM 2002-008 for Vermilion). The alternatives include minimal human use/influence, balancing resource protection and human use/influence, maximum appropriate human use/influence, maximizing resource protection and human use/influence in different areas, and the environmentally preferred alternative. The alternative which is now the proposed plan, is maximizing resource protection and human use/influence in different areas.
