Buck T, Herder M, Holt T, Fong S, Franklin S, Price R, Sanders K, Sims J. 2006. Arizona Strip desert bighorn sheep management plan, as amended. Bighorn Sheep Core Team

The amended habitat management plan (HMP) is reviewed annually to better direct desert bighorn sheep management on the Arizona Strip. This plan is part of an effort to reach population goals set by the original HMPs that are now replaced or amended by this document, namely Black Rock, Parashant, Paria-Kanab Creek. These are 3 of the 5 original habitat areas and the 3 that did not meet population goals by 1996. This plan includes background on the individual populations, management guidelines, and goals and future activities.
