Three microclimate variables, light intensity, air temperature (AT), and vapor pressure deficit (VPD), were monitored over 2 field seasons in treated and untreated forest. Restoration treatments increased sunlight penetration to the forest floor but did not significantly impact ambient AT or VPD. Significant edge effects for AT and VPD were detected in the morning and evening in the untreated forest.
