Multiple use programs currently being administered are livestock grazing and wildlife habitat management (desert bighorn sheep). Several fires in the area have caused a shift in vegetation. This plan directs the management objectives, including recreation, fire, vegetation, and scientific study, in relation to past objective when the area was designated as a Wilderness Study Area.
