This document describes the current (2007-2008) and historic data mining activities of the Chihuahuan Desert Network Inventory & Monitoring Program (CHDN), as well as the tools that facilitate the citation and storage of the park reports and data sets found. The goals of the CHDN data mining activities at Big Bend National Park (BIBE) are to document the park natural resource-related data and reports in the available national databases (NatureBib, Dataset Catalog, NPS Data Store), and to assist the staff with defining effective data management practices.
