This chapter begins with a reproduction of Howel Williams' 1929 paper "The volcanic domes of Lassen Peak and vicinity, California," which documents dacite dome development within Lassen Volcanic National Park. He provides specific sections on the Chaos Crags and the domes north of them, the White Mountain Dome, the Lassen Peak Dome and the domes south of it, and the Divide Peak Dome.
