This report focuses on groundwater conditions at twenty units within the Southeast Coast Network (SECN). Included in this report is an inventory of groundwater use, monitoring programs, and facilities atSECN parks, an analysis of existing groundwater data within or near these parks with respect to trends and potential influences, a monitoring protocol for developing additional data that can beused to assess short- and long-term variation in groundwater conditions and influences, and a set of recommendations for further investigations. Groundwater monitoring data are currently restricted to U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) wells because other wells have limited frequency(less than 350 daily observations per year) and duration (less than five years) of data collection.
