This document rates the national park as a 60 out of 100 for natural resources. Ratings were assigned through an evaluation of park research and monitoring data using NPCA’s Center for State of the Parks comprehensive assessment methodology. They found that invasive species are the number one threat to the management of natural resources in the park. The condition of the cultural resources was rated at 65 out of 100. These scores were based on indicator questions from the NPS guidelines for cultural management. The document describes work being done on endangered species monitoring, invasive species control as well as archaeological site inventorying and ethnology within the park.
