Overview of Hansen's disease (leprosy) spread and hospitalization worldwide with a focus in the "British dominions." The review contains numbers of patients at clinics as well as some demographics of those patients and the extent of the disease as it was known. Two illustrations of patients with different forms of the disease are shown as is a map of affected areas in the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
