Parker ML and Goldstein MI. 2004. Diet of the Rio Grande Leopard Frog (Rana berlandieri) in Texas. Journal of Herpetology. 38(1):127-130

Researchers collected adult specimens of Rana berlandieri, Rio Grande Leopard Frog, in 2000 at five sites in Texas, including Big Bend National Park. Stomach contents were analyzed and prey items were identified in 85 frogs. Results indicated that R. berlandieri is a generalist and opportunistic in diet choice.
