Three known mines and several suspected mine areas were investigated for mineral potential (including oil and gas) near the Wilderness Study Areas. Analytical data from samples taken at breccias pipes indicate copper resources exist and uranium resources may exist within ¼ mile of the Wilderness Study Areas.
