Peculiar Actions of Coyote and Kit Fox

The author describes an observation by a Deputy Sheriff of Inyo County, California between kit foxes and a coyote following an accident. Three foxes and approached a fully lighted auto that was recently occupied by humans to lick blood from the frame of the car. The foxes ran away as the coyote approached and displayed also licked blood from the frame of the car. The author considers this behavior interesting due to the shy nature of the kit foxes.
