Distribution of Races of the Brown Bat (Eptesicus) in Western North America

Skins and skulls of 493 bats were examined. Of these, 444, representing the races bernardinus, pallidus and peninsulae, are listed in this paper; the remainder, representing the race fuscus, are from eastern states, with the exception of 28 from Kansas.
