Blend five national parks, vegetation maps, experts in plant pathology, poor air quality, and ozone sensitive vegetation such as common milkweed, tulip poplar, and cut-leaf coneflower. Garnish with hand lenses, tree climbers, scientists, volunteers, and a Research Learning Center. Sweeten with a dollop of trial and error and the result is the summer 2006 multipark pilot assessment of foliar ozone injury.
