The Occurrence and Distribution of the Eastern Fence Lizard (Sceloporus undulatus) in Southern Nevada
Kay FR and Bradley WG. 1968. The Occurrence and Distribution of the Eastern Fence Lizard (Sceloporus undulatus) in Southern Nevada. Herpetologica. 24(1):72-76
The eastern fence lizard, Sceloporus undulatus, has been reported from the Lake Mead area of southern Nevada by Shannon (1950) and Bell (1954). We question the validity of the previous location and report a population from the Virgin Mountains in southeastern Nevada. The subspecific status and ecological distribution of that population are discussed.
