For this report, three representative stations in the immediate vicinity of the park were selected for data analysis. These stations are geographically well distributed, and have individual characteristics which make them desirable for reporting purposes. The stations are: Big South Remote Automated Weather Station (RAWS), located at park headquarters, Stearns 2S (1.8 miles NE of the park) and Allardt (4.5 miles SW of the park).
