The study was initiated to investigate the population size, habitat use, and life history of razorback sucker in Lake Mead. The primary objectives of the project are:1. Determine the population size of razorback sucker in Lake Mead. 2. Determine the habitat use and life history characteristics of the Lake Mead population.3. Determine the spawning locations and spawning habitat. The study was designed to last a minimum of 3 years in order to provide sufficient time to study the population and to compare and contrast information from several different years. This Annual Report summarizes the results of the study from October 1996 through June 1997.
