Authors surveyed the flora and fauna of 19 anchialine pools along the coast of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park in May and July, 1988. Table lists aquatic fauna found, giving scientific name (when identified), description, and pool complex number. Table 2 gives distribution of aquatic fauna in 14 of the anchialine pools, giving species names and complexes in which they were found. Table 3 gives pool temperatures, salinities, and depths. Other tables give emergent and terrestrial vascular plants and comparisons with other anchialiane pools in Hawaii and Maui. Includes maps and black & white photographs.
