This report evaluates current methodologies for monitoring wintering and breeding coastal waterbird populations. It also generates a baseline inventory, a distribution of habitats record, and a database on the status, abundance, and distribution of 3 species of threatened/endangered waterbirds (snowy plover (Charadrius alexandrinus); piping plover (Charadrius melodus); and gull-billed tern (Gelochelidon nilotica)).
