This is a report of surveys for the northern goshawk (Accipiter gentilis) in the Santa Fe National Forest, NM. Five areas of proposed timber sales were surveyed by calling during the nestling and fledgling-dependency period. The sale areas were: Black Bear, Las Vegas District; Cerro Pavo, Coyote District; Chicoma, Espanola District; Golondrinos, Cuba District; Paliza, Jemez Distict. Includes information on the reproductive success of 18 known nesting territories on or near the Santa Fe National Forest.
