This report studied sulfur concentrations in needles from pinon pine (Pinus edulis) trees and adjacent soil samples at Bandelier National Monument, NM. The baseline data were to be used to determine changes in sulfur dioxide and sulfate concentration in the future. Needles from trees of different ages and elevations and from soils at different depths around the tree were collected. This report is very big on statistics and includes a map of survey sites and appendixes of all the raw data.
