Jemez Mountains salamanders were inventoried in the Jemez Mountains, NM using visual inspections for habitat, time-constrained searches, and surveys of permanent transects. The Barley, Bonito, Mesa del Medio, and Calaveras timber sale areas and the Copar/East Fork pumice mine on the Santa Fe National Forest were surveyed for distribution, habitat characteristics, and population. Includes maps of the study sites and transects, field notes, and a listing of museum holdings of Plethodon neomexicanus with data on the location, date, and collector.
