This four-part series provides an historical account of life on a fox farm on Nuka Island from 1920 through the mid-1940s. The articles deal mostly with establishing the farm and the day-to-day business of foxes, but they also contain narratives on birds, bears, marine mammals, small mammals, climate, and the natural splendor of the area. The articles are accompanied by many historical photographs
