Algal flora of selected hanging gardens

Clark RL. 1973. Algal flora of selected hanging gardens

In the fall of 1972, algae from five selected hanging gardens in the Lake Powell-Glen Canyon area were collected and identified. Little such study had previously been done. There is a list of the algae found, and extensive species keys with description and discussion of each species. Distribution maps for each taxon found in the Glen Canyon gardens were prepared for both the state of Utah and for the Lake Powell area (not present).
