A progress report for a project to determine the effects of feral pony grazing on the biological, chemical, and physical environment of Assateague Island National Seashore. Plans call for exclosures to be built in order to monitor and compare areas protected with areas open for grazing. This progress report contains modifications to the original plan and results of research from September 1, 1987 through April 1, 1988.
