In the fall and winter of 1977-78, the authors examined winter users preferences related to facilities, recreational activities, and concessionaire development. In addition, the users were interviewed specifically to their preferences for the future and feasibility of the current Lassen Ski Area. From the results, it was recommended that the ski area be phased-out of Lassen Volcanic National Park.
