Late Quaternary Sedimentation and Paleoecologic History of Chaco Canyon, New Mexico

Hall SA. 1977. Late Quaternary Sedimentation and Paleoecologic History of Chaco Canyon, New Mexico. Geological Society of America Bulletin. 88(11):1593-1618

Conclusion is that the climate was slightly drier than now during the time of the Anasazi and that the time they left correlated with the post-Bonito chanel system putting water out of reach of their water system.
