Data were collected along the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon from Lee's Ferry to Diamond Creek during 1975 and 1976. At Lee's Ferry the water temperature ranges from 44.6 - 50 degrees F, but reaches 59.4 degrees F by Diamond Creek. Flooding of the Paria and the Little Colorado rivers causes the Colorado River to become extremely turbid.
