Report on the water quality of Lobos Creek (in the Presidio of San Francisco). Analyzed water quality (water temperature, air temperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, total suspended solids (TSS), turbidity, oil and grease, alkalinity, hardness, ammonia, nitrate, sulfate, orthophosphate, chloride, pH, coliform bacteria and 24 elements - Al, Fe, Mg, Ti, Mn, Ba, Zn, Sr, Va, Pb, Mo, Cr, Cu, Ni, B, Co, Ag, Cd, Na, Si, Se, K, As, Hg), benthic macroinvertebrates (includes a list of taxa), and periphyton (biomass, species abundance and chlorophyll). Includes tables of data and descriptions of their significance. Also includes an annotated bibliography (much of which is reproduced in this database).
