Johnson LE. 1987. The M-3-1-2 road and slope watershed rehabilitation project: unit 86-5

This report is one of a large group containing details of individual projects done as part of the major rehabilitation efforts in the Redwood Creek basin, Redwood National Park, California. It contains a description of the site (in the Bridge Creek drainage), the logging history (with map), and the erosion features (shown on folded large map). Work was done with heavy equipment except for spreading of straw mulch after excavation. Tables summarize costs. Background information on file for each site includes photopoint files (photopoint maps and description of locations for documentary photographs), color slides (the work process, before-and-after documentation), administrative files (calculations of volumes for excavation, equipment/hours/costs, daily logs, contracts, etc.), detailed geomorphic site maps (unmarked mylar base maps with overlays), and aerial photographs.
