From the foreword "This report is a partial compilation of a list of Parkway plants that have been, and are still used for medicinal purposes. It has been restricted to those general and species described in Dr. W. B. McDougall's unpublished manuscript, Plants of the Natchez Trace Parkway. Other medicinal plants do exist along the Parkway." Consists of a list of plants with notes on how they were/are used medicinally.
