Performance report, as required by federal aid in wildlife restoration act, Texas. Nongame wildlife investigations, Job No. 33. Aerial and ground surveys of American peregrine falcons (Falco peregrinus anatum) in the Trans-Pecos were conducted by department personnel in 1974 and 1975. In 1976 and 1977 the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute was contracted to survey selected mountain ranges. Four eyries were checked by department personnel during this segment and additional production data was obtained from National Park Service personnel. Production was confirmed on only one eyrie which produced at least 1 young. Several eyries had adults present, but their nesting status was not determined.
