An annual report summarizing four studies conducted in American Samoa during 1994. Contains studies outlining the abundance, distribution, home range, and movement of the following species: the Samoan fruit bat (Pteropus samoensis), the white-necked bat (Pteropus tonganus), the Pacific pigeon (Ducula pacifica), the purple-capped fruit-dove (Ptilinopus porphyraceus), and the many-colored fruit-dove (Ptilinopus perousii). Also describes the monitoring of seabird nesting populations and vegetation recovery following the elimination of rats and outlines provision of technical assistance and exchange of scientific information with government agencies and the public.
