Mielichhoferia tehamensis, sp. nov., from Northern California

Mielichhoferia tehamensis was a new species found in Lassen Park in 1976. Five locations within the park have been identified as having the new species. Several features of the plant include small spores, plane leaf margins, and the absence of peristone.
