This report provides the results of an aerial moose survey conducted in Katmai in late January and early February 1975. A total of 1,097 moose were tabulated during the four-day survey. The largest numbers were found in Counting Units 2, 3, 4, and 6. Of the total population, 123 (11.2%) were calves, Also seen were 18 wolves, 4 wolverines, several red fox, 3 lynx, and 8 bald eagles.
